The Original 2
0 Comments Published by admin February 8th, 2008 in art, doodle, drawing, mazes, photoshopYou might not remember it from before. I made this in 8th grade… my first full page maze. It was originally drawn with blue ink and was drawn on notebook paper. It was looking pretty shabby. Then Chris, my roommate, volunteered to clean it up - he added a lot of really cool details, deleted all the lines from the paper, and made everything a solid black. Pretty sharp looking! Anyway, it isn’t 100% done since no path actually leads to the end. I’m working on that. But this is more or less the final product. Enjoy!
Finally! It is finished (kind of). I started this in November. I’m posting two pics, one full size with watermarks, and then a zoomed in one. This maze is quite mad. I still need to edit it- It will be really impressive once it’s cleaned up. So you start anywhere in the bold circle in the middle left and end in the black hole in the bottom left. I don’t expect you to beat it… at all. Don’t even try, really. I will not be held responsible for any mental anguish this may cause. You’ll have to have this blown up to even see what you’re doing.
Again, this is just a preview. Keep checking back for the final version!
No, I’m not going anywhere. This is named after Ulrich Schnauss’ latest CD. This maze reminds me of the cover art. It was originally inspired by Starry Night by Van Gogh - and ended up looking nothing like it. Anyway, you start on the far right and you end in the setting sun. It’s not all that complicated, I don’t think.

So I finally photoshopped those out and blurred the shading. Other than that, there are no effects or filters on this one. This one is unique in that none of the paths cross over each other, unlike all my other mazes. Also this one is pretty simple, I’m sure you’ll have no trouble beating it- at least compared to the others.
Well here is my latest maze… I really have no idea what to do with the background, so I’ll leave it as is until I figure something else out. I tried a space scene, nebula, mountains, a moonlit night- nothing seemed to fit. I was recently given 50 new colored pencils for my birthday, so I made it my goal to use every one of them in this maze. The start of this maze is in the bottom left, the end is the top left.
I have yet to actually beat this without cheating. I think each maze I make gets progressively harder. Let me know if you’re able to beat it! And if you have any ideas for a background, suggestions, or requests, join the new forum and post your thoughts there!

2 Comments Published by admin November 14th, 2007 in art, drawing, mazes, photoshopIn keeping with the whole desert theme, I’d like to show you the Green Orb of Disappointment. It’s pretty self-explanatory— Guy in his robe, drinking scotch, crying out to the Green Orb of Disappointment, all while Mongols invade ancient Egypt in the background… perfectly logical, right?
This was created sometime in the first half of this year- I used only highlighters, pens, and colored Sharpies. The man is loosely based on my cousin’s paintings– I’d like to post them once I get his permission. Anyway… hope you like it.
